Cradlepoint R920 Cat 7 LTE Ruggedized Router with Wi-Fi 6 and 5-Year NetCloud Ruggedized IoT Essentials Plan

The Ericsson Cradlepoint R920 is a ruggedized LTE router designed for in-vehicle and IoT deployments where organisations want one standard platform across fleets, rail and remote equipment. Part number TC05-0920-C7A-NN bundles the R920 with a 5-year Ericsson NetCloud Ruggedized IoT Essentials plan. The plan provides NetCloud Manager cloud management and software updates for the full term, 24x7 support, and a limited lifetime warranty that stays in force while the subscription is active. This is the North American version for the U.S. and Canada. It ships with an AC power supply and two cellular paddle antennas. The embedded Cat 7 LTE modem uses 2x2 MIMO and carrier aggregation to reach 300 Mbps downlink and 150 Mbps uplink. It falls back to WCDMA/HSPA+ where needed. Dual 4FF SIM slots support SIM-based automatic carrier selection. The modem holds AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon certifications, along with FirstNet Trusted, T-Mobile Connecting Heroes and Verizon Frontline public safety certifications. Support for CBRS Band 48 lets the router run on private LTE networks. For a second modem, the optional RX20 Managed Accessory adds another LTE or 5G modem and a serial port. Local connectivity includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports that switch between LAN and WAN. Dual-band 2x2 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi 6 operates as an access point, a wireless client or Wi-Fi as WAN. The router also has embedded Bluetooth LE 5.1, a screw-lock USB 2.0 port, a GPIO connector and an active GNSS receiver that tracks GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou and QZSS. A dual-core ARMv8 CPU runs Docker containers. Rated stateful firewall throughput is 940 Mbps. The R920 is rated IP64 and certified Class I Div 2, E-Mark, SAE J1455, EN 61373 for rail rolling stock and MIL-STD-810G vibration. It accepts 9–36 VDC with ignition sensing.
