Cradlepoint R920 Ruggedized Cat 7 LTE Router with Wi-Fi 6 and 3-Year NetCloud Mobile Essentials Plan (North America)

The Ericsson Cradlepoint R920 is a ruggedized LTE networking platform built for vehicles and mobile deployments. This SKU, MA03-0920-C7A-NA, pairs the North American Cat 7 hardware with Wi-Fi with a 3-year NetCloud Mobile Essentials plan. That plan provides NetCloud Manager device management, software updates and 24x7 support for the full subscription term. It ships without an AC power supply or antennas. The router is designed for direct 9–36 VDC vehicle power and external SMA/RP-SMA antennas. The embedded Cat 7 LTE modem reaches up to 300 Mbps downlink and 150 Mbps uplink, using 2x2 MIMO and 2-carrier aggregation. Dual 4FF SIM slots support SIM-based auto-carrier selection. The modem covers North American LTE bands including B12, B13, B14, B66, B71 and CBRS Band 48 for private cellular networks. It is certified with AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon. It also holds FirstNet Trusted, T-Mobile Connecting Heroes and Verizon Frontline public safety certifications. Inside the vehicle, dual-band 2x2 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi 6 runs in AP, client or Wi-Fi-as-WAN mode. Two GbE ports, embedded Bluetooth LE 5.1 and a screw-lock USB 2.0 port provide additional connectivity. With the optional RX20 Managed Accessory, the R920 can add a second LTE or 5G modem and a serial port. The R920 is built for rough service. It has an IP64 enclosure and operates from -30 °C to 75 °C. It carries E-Mark, SAE J1455, EN 61373 rail, MIL-STD-810G shock and vibration, and Class I Div 2 hazardous location certifications. Ignition sensing handles automatic power-on and delayed power-off. Active GNSS tracks GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou and QZSS, feeding NetCloud coverage maps and location history. A dual-core 64-bit ARMv8 CPU runs Docker containers at the edge. Stateful firewall throughput reaches 940 Mbps, with support for 20 concurrent VPN tunnels.
