BPL-310-PRM supplies the Peplink Balance 310, a fanless dual-WAN router with PrimeCare. Two 2.5G multi-gig Ethernet WAN interfaces provide high-speed upstream connectivity, while Ethernet WAN 2 can be reconfigured as a WAN or LAN interface in the web administration interface. The router provides 4 Gbps routing throughput for office and distributed-network traffic. Four 10G multi-gig Ethernet LAN ports support high-speed local transfers between workstations, servers and NAS devices. One configurable 2.5G WAN/LAN interface supplies 802.3at PoE+ output, allowing it to power a connected 5G Dome or Antenna MAX while carrying data. The available PoE budget is 30 W when DC input is 50 V to 56 V. For SD-WAN deployments, the Balance 310 supports SpeedFusion VPN with hot failover, smoothing and bandwidth bonding. It also supports intelligent failover, WAN link health checks, load balancing, a stateful firewall, content filtering, high availability and InControl 2 central management. Docker edge computing is supported through 8GB of internal storage. The compact unit accepts 12 V to 56 V DC through its 4-pin Micro-Fit connector, including GPIO and ignition sensing, and is also supplied with a 54 V, 1.2 A power supply. Its fanless operation, grounding provision and 10.2 x 6.3 x 1.34 inch enclosure suit quiet office installations and flexible deployments including vehicles such as RVs.
