Built for enterprise sites that require high-capacity WAN connectivity and local processing, the Balance 1350 EC combines configurable Ethernet and fiber interfaces in a 1U rack-mount platform. BPL-1350-EC-PRM provides eight GE ports, eight 10G SFP+ ports and three USB WAN interfaces. SFP+ ports 1–8, Ethernet WAN ports 1–4 and Ethernet LAN ports 1–4 can be configured as WAN or LAN ports through the web administration interface. Router throughput is rated at 25 Gbps. For traffic continuity, the router supports intelligent failover, session persistence, per-service load distribution and multiple load-balancing algorithms. SpeedFusion VPN supports Hot Failover, Smoothing and Bandwidth Bonding, with 2 Gbps throughput both without encryption and with 256-bit AES encryption. High Availability is supported, while dual hot-swappable power supplies help maintain power resilience. Stateful firewall, DoS prevention, content filtering, IPsec VPN and remote-user access provide network and access controls. Its 512GB internal storage supports Docker and KVM for local edge-computing workloads, along with prefetching and scheduled off-peak downloads. InControl 2 provides centralized cloud management, monitoring and reporting for core and off-site networks. The platform can support up to 500 access points, including AP discovery, firmware management and profile configuration.
