BPL-5000-EC-100G-PRM is the Balance 5000 EC (100G) enterprise router for large-scale multi-WAN, multi-site and multi-cloud network deployments. It provides 110 Gbps router throughput and up to 30 Gbps SpeedFusion VPN throughput with or without 256-bit AES encryption. SpeedFusion features include bandwidth bonding, Hot Failover and Smoothing for protected WAN connectivity. The configurable interface design supports up to eight 2.5G Ethernet WAN connections, up to nine 2.5G Ethernet LAN connections, up to eight 25G SFP28 interfaces and up to two 100G QSFP28 interfaces. Default 100G configuration assigns Ethernet ports 3 through 8, SFP28 ports 3 and 4, and QSFP28 port 2 to WAN; Ethernet ports 1 and 2, SFP28 ports 1 and 2, and QSFP28 port 1 are assigned to LAN. WAN/LAN configuration can be changed in Web Admin. For continuity planning, the chassis provides dual hot-swap power supplies, High Availability and LAN Bypass. It includes 2x 1TB SSDs for edge computing, with Docker and KVM virtual-machine hosting support. InControl 2 central management, Full content filtering, LACP NIC bonding, a stateful firewall and up to 800 IPsec tunnels support centralized enterprise operations. The 1U rack-mount platform uses AC input from 110V to 220V and includes two power cords, an Ethernet cable, rack-mount rails and a short-ear rack-mount kit. It is rated for operation from 0° to 40° C and carries a 1-Year Limited Warranty.
