The Ericsson Cradlepoint S700 is a semi-ruggedized, cloud-managed LTE router built for light industrial, IoT and portable applications where security is a foundational requirement. Part number TBA5-0700C4D-NN is the North America (U.S. and Canada) configuration. It combines the Cat 4 hardware with Wi-Fi, an AC power supply and antennas, plus five years of Ericsson NetCloud IoT Essentials and NetCloud Advanced plans. The embedded Cat 4 LTE modem (3GPP Rel. 11) delivers peak rates of 150 Mbps down and 50 Mbps up with 2x2 MIMO. It covers LTE bands 2, 4, 5, 12, 13, 14, 66 and 71 and falls back to DC-HSPA+. Dual 4FF SIM slots with SIM-based auto-carrier selection let the router move between carriers. The modem is certified on AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon. It also holds FirstNet Trusted, T-Mobile Connecting Heroes and Verizon Frontline public safety certifications. On the local side, the S700 offers: • Two LAN/WAN-switchable Gigabit Ethernet ports • One USB 2.0 port • Dual-radio, dual-band concurrent 2x2 Wi-Fi 6 at up to 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 1.2 Gbps on 5 GHz, with WPA3 Personal and Enterprise support Active GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo) supports asset tracking and geofencing. Configurable GPIO, the NetCloud SDK and APIs extend the router into custom IoT workflows. Rated firewall and IPS throughput is 480 Mbps, with up to 64 VLANs. The 123 x 118 x 34 mm aluminum housing is IP30 rated and operates from -20 °C to 60 °C. It accepts 9-33 VDC input with reverse polarity protection, transient protection and ignition sensing for vehicle installs. It is tested to SAE J1455, EN 61373 rail and MIL-STD-810H shock and vibration methods. The NetCloud subscription covers the full five-year term with: • Cloud-based device management and software updates through NetCloud Manager • 24x7 support • Limited lifetime hardware warranty while an active NetCloud plan is maintained
