Yes. With supported Cradlepoint controlling routers, the R2105 can run as a captive 5G modem connected over Ethernet. NetCloud Manager treats it as an internal modem, so no separate licence is needed. With select routers it can also act as an additional Wi-Fi source.
The modem covers 5G NR FR1 (NSA and SA) and LTE Advanced Pro Cat 20 across a wide set of bands. It holds AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon network certifications, plus FirstNet Trusted, T-Mobile Connecting Heroes and Verizon Frontline Verified public safety certifications. It also supports CBRS Band 48 for private networks. Two 4FF SIM slots are provided, and SIM cards are not included.
It is rated IP67 (dust tight and immersion up to 1 meter) and IK09 for impact. It meets MIL-STD-810G shock and vibration procedures and IEC60068-2-11 salt-mist corrosion resistance. It operates from -30 °C to 70 °C (-22 °F to 158 °F).
