The Ericsson Cradlepoint S700 is a semi-ruggedized, cloud-managed LTE router for light industrial, IoT and portable applications where security is a foundational requirement. It combines LTE, wired and Wi-Fi connectivity, so one compact unit can serve high-availability, portable or fixed installations. This SKU, TBA3-0700C4D-NA, is the North America (U.S. & Canada) Cat 4 (150 Mbps) with Wi-Fi configuration, packaged with both the NetCloud IoT Essentials and NetCloud IoT Advanced plans for three years. The embedded Cat 4 LTE modem reaches 150 Mbps down and 50 Mbps up on LTE bands 2, 4, 5, 12, 13, 14, 66 and 71, with dual 4FF SIM slots and SIM-based auto-carrier selection. It lists AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon operator certifications and FirstNet Trusted, T-Mobile Connecting Heroes and Verizon Frontline public safety certifications. Dual-radio, concurrent Wi-Fi 6 (2x2 MIMO) delivers up to 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 1.2 Gbps on 5 GHz with WPA3 support. Two 1 GbE RJ45 ports, a USB 2.0 Type A port and active GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo) round out the interfaces. The aluminum IP30 housing operates from -20 °C to 60 °C. The 9-33 VDC input includes reverse polarity and transient protection plus ignition sensing, and the unit carries SAE J1455 vehicle, EN 61373 rail and MIL-STD-810H shock and vibration test results. Performance ratings include 480 Mbps stateful firewall and IPS throughput, 50 Mbps IPsec VPN and up to 64 VLANs. Essentials provides NetCloud Manager management, software updates and 24x7 support for the full term, along with a limited lifetime warranty while the plan is active. The bundled Advanced plan adds capabilities beyond Essentials. The NetCloud SDK and API extend the platform for custom IoT workflows. See the Cradlepoint S700 datasheet for the complete platform detail.
