The Panorama C240N-5SP-5GB is the -5GB variant of the C240N-5SP cable assembly. It is a 5 m (16.4 ft) antenna cable with an N-type male connector on one end and an SMA male connector on the other. Use it to connect an N-type female antenna port or lead to an SMA female port on a cellular router, gateway or Wi-Fi device. Panorama intends CS240 assemblies like this one for mobile and fixed installations that need a longer cable run.
CS240 is an ultra-low-loss, double-shielded, solid-core cable with a 6.1 mm (0.24 in) outer diameter. Attenuation is no greater than 0.38 dB per metre at 2 GHz, so the full 5 m length stays at or below about 1.9 dB of cable loss at that frequency. Impedance is 50 Ω ± 2 Ω at 1 GHz and 50 Ω ± 4 Ω at 2 GHz. A tin-plated copper braid with at least 93% coverage sits over bonded aluminium foil, giving shielding effectiveness better than -90 dB under IEC 61196-1. The velocity factor is 84%.
The black FRZH jacket is flame retardant and halogen free, made from AlphaGary Megolon S540NS low-smoke TPE. The cable meets EN45545-2 HL3 and UN ECE R118.03 and is rated for internal and external installations. It operates from -40°C to +80°C (-40°F to 176°F). The minimum bend radius is 20 mm (0.78 in) for a one-time bend and 60 mm (2.36 in) for repeated bending. Panorama's CS240 cable datasheet details the full construction.
