The Panorama SAB-224 lets fleet and engineering teams evaluate a SharkFin-style antenna on a vehicle before committing to a permanent roof installation. It is designed for the GPSD, GPSDC and FINDC range. Listed compatible part numbers include the FINB, GPSD-7-27, GPSD-7-27-24-58, GPSDC-7-27, GPSDC-7-27-24-58 and the GPSDC kit with 5 m cables. The adapter uses two heavy-duty, automotive-grade magnets fitted to an aluminium alloy plate. It attaches quickly anywhere on a steel vehicle surface, so you can compare antenna positions and measure real-world cellular and GNSS performance without drilling holes or damaging the vehicle. It measures 183 x 73 mm and is black. The SAB-224 is a temporary mounting solution. It does not provide a suitable ground plane if a VHF or UHF whip is part of the antenna configuration, so it is best used to test the cellular, Wi-Fi and GNSS functions of the antenna. Typical users include public-safety agencies, mass-transit operators and utilities running antenna trials before fleet-wide rollouts. Panorama publishes a datasheet for the SAB-224.
