The RB-SW18DV is an 18U swing-out wall-mount rack cabinet from the Rack Basics line, built to house 19-inch rack equipment such as switches, patch panels and other active gear in network closets, telecom rooms and structured cabling installations. Its double-hinged design lets the cabinet swing away from the wall for full rear access up to 120 degrees, so installation, servicing and cable management can be done without pulling equipment from the rails.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel with a black textured painted finish, rated for a 200 lb equipment load. A locking vented front door and removable side panels combine physical security with airflow for equipment cooling, and the enclosure is fan-ready with standard 4.70 in fan cutouts for optional cooling. Cable entry openings with covers are provided in the top and bottom, and rear access supports flexible routing in wall-mounted installations.

Overall swing-out dimensions are 35.7 in x 23.63 in x 25.59 in (907 mm x 600 mm x 650 mm), with 18U of usable rack space and mounting dimensions of 31.50 in high x 19.00 in wide x 23.00 in deep. Maximum equipment mounting depth is 23.82 in (605 mm) and maximum rail mounting depth is 20.02 in (509 mm). Shipping weight is 124 lbs (56.25 kg).

Adjustable square-hole mounting rails allow flexible equipment positioning; two pairs of 19 in mounting rails and a starter pack of 25 M6 screws and cage nuts are included (for 10-32 hardware, see the CAGKIT Series). Cabinet orientation is reversible for left- or right-hand hinging, and RB-SW18DV ships fully assembled with hardware included. The cabinet meets PCI DSS compliance requirements and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
