The RB-2P24 is a 24U freestanding two-post open frame rack built for cost-effective mounting of 19-inch IT and telecom equipment. It suits IT and AV integrators, structured cabling contractors and facilities teams outfitting data rooms, telecom spaces and network closets where open access and airflow matter more than an enclosure.

Construction is 12-gauge welded steel with a black powder coat finish in RAL9005, and the drawing identifies the part as a welded assembly. The rack is UL2416 rated for 1000 lb of equipment load and is listed under UL file E474597, with cULus and TAA-compliant standards noted for the part. The powder coat finish is described as GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the part is REACH and RoHS compliant, USMCA compliant and made in Canada.

Overall dimensions are 48.12 in (1222 mm) high by 20.46 in (520 mm) wide by 15.00 in (381 mm) deep, with a nominal listed size of 42 in x 20 in x 15 in (1,067 mm x 508 mm x 381 mm). The 19.00 in (483 mm) EIA mounting width and 42.16 in (1071 mm) of mounting height provide 24 rack units of usable space. Both rails are double-tapped with #10-32 UNF holes on standard EIA spacing and carry rack unit (U) markings, and four 10-32 x 1/2 studs are provided for bonding and grounding.

The RB-2P24 installs as a floor-mounted freestanding rack, and side ganging plus accessory mounting holes allow expansion and the addition of cable management. RB-VCM24 is the matching optional vertical cable manager, and two racks can be converted into a four-post configuration using the Four Post Rack Kit (FPRK). It is part of the Rack Basics line.
