The DC4R24 is a 24U four-post open frame rack kit with a fully adjustable depth of 24 in to 36 in, intended for server, network and IT equipment in data rooms, network closets and homelab installations. Its open four-post frame distributes equipment weight across four mounting points while leaving the sides and top clear for cable routing and servicing.
Construction is 12-gauge welded steel rack rails with 1/4 in steel base angles, rated for a 2,000 lb static load. The mild steel frame is finished in a smooth RAL9005 black powder coat that is GREENGUARD, RoHS and REACH compliant. Two pairs of 19 in EIA-310-D compliant square-hole rails are supplied with marked rack unit dividers to speed equipment layout, along with a 50-pack of screws and 10-32 cage nuts. Integrated 10-32 ground studs at the front and rear (two studs per rail) support bonding and grounding of rack components.
Overall height is 48.13 in (1,222 mm) with a width of 20.50 in (521 mm); usable mounting height is 42.00 in (1,067 mm) at 19.00 in (483 mm) wide, and the mounting depth adjusts from 24.00 in (610 mm) to 36.00 in (914 mm). The base feet, when extended outward, add approximately 12 in of overall depth. Shipping weight is 75 lbs (34.02 kg).
DC4R24 ships knocked down for easier handling and protection, with self-centering, self-squaring hardware included for assembly. One set of two horizontal cable manager bars is included, and optional solid side panel DC4R2436SP, extra lacing bars (DC4RSHCM) and locking casters can be added. The rack is TAA compliant, USMCA compliant and manufactured in North America, supporting government procurement requirements.
