DC4R4436SP is a single solid side panel for Hammond DC4R Series 44U 4-post open frame racks. It is designed for IT, data room and network installations where an open frame rack needs closed sides for added security and a more finished appearance, while the front and rear stay open for cable management and servicing.

The panel is an adjustable two-piece assembly that telescopes to suit racks set between 24 in and 36 in mounting depth. The left-hand section measures 19.62 in (498 mm) and the right-hand section 20.25 in (514 mm), with a 3.97 in (101 mm) overlap between them, giving an overall extended length of 35.91 in (912 mm) at the maximum setting. Construction is mild steel with a painted black textured finish.

Each DC4R4436SP order supplies one panel, so two are needed to close both sides of a rack. Mounting hardware is included: four 44U side panel mounting brackets, a center support, eight 10-32 x .75 in screws with washers, eight 3/8-16 x 3/4 cap screws with eight 3/8-16 KEP nuts, two 1/4-20 x 1/2 carriage bolts with two 1/4-20 KEP nuts, and twelve 0.4 in diameter hole plugs.

The panel is listed in the DC4R ordering tables as the optional solid side panel for the adjustable-depth DC4R44 and DC4RT44 racks and for the fixed-depth DC4R4429F and DC4R4436F racks.
