The HDR16UBK is a 16U desktop 2-post open frame rack from the HDR Series, built for mounting 19-inch equipment where a full-size floor rack is not practical. It suits IT and AV integrators, lab and test engineers, telecom technicians and edge deployments that need open, accessible rack space on a bench, table or desktop.

Construction is 16-gauge steel with a 195 lb load rating, finished in RAL9005 Black powder coat that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. Two 12-gauge steel mounting rails are tapped #10-32 and carry rack unit markings for consistent, repeatable equipment placement. When assembled, the rails sit at a 10-degree angle to improve visibility and access to front panels, and side cable tie slots help route and dress cabling in tight installations.

Overall dimensions are 30.00 in (762 mm) high x 20.00 in (508 mm) wide with a 16.00 in (406 mm) base depth; the part page lists a nominal size of 29.5 in x 20 in x 16 in (749 mm x 508 mm x 406 mm). Mounting height is 28.00 in (711 mm) of 16U usable space at the 19.00 in (483 mm) EIA mounting width, with a 17.81 in (452 mm) opening between rails.

HDR16UBK uses a self-squaring knock-down design and is shipped flat packed for easy transport and quick on-site assembly. The box includes assembly instructions, two rack rails, left and right side angle bases, a base panel, four PVC non-slip feet and a 25-pack of 10-32 x 0.625 in rack screws (replacement part SCREW1032-25). The rack is TAA compliant and manufactured in Canada, with USMCA, RoHS and REACH compliance for procurement requirements.
