The DC4RT44 is a 44U 4-post open frame rack kit with tapped 10-32 mounting rails and a fully adjustable mounting depth from 24 in to 36 in. It is built for IT and network teams, integrators and facilities groups installing servers, switches and other deep or heavy rack-mount equipment where open access for cabling and servicing is preferred over an enclosed cabinet.
Construction uses 12-gauge welded steel rack rails with 1/4 in steel base angles, rated for a 2,000 lb static load, so equipment weight is distributed across four mounting points. The mild steel frame is finished in a smooth RAL9005 black powder coat that is GREENGUARD, RoHS and REACH compliant. The rack measures 83.13 in (2112 mm) high by 20.50 in (521 mm) wide, with 77.00 in (1956 mm) of 19.00 in (483 mm) EIA mounting height equal to 44 rack units. Base feet extending outwards add approximately 12 inches of overall depth, and the feet can also be installed inwards.
Two pairs of 19 in EIA-310-D compliant rails are supplied with marked rack unit dividers for accurate equipment placement, and one set of two horizontal cable manager bars is included for cable organization. Integrated 10-32 ground studs at the front and rear support bonding and grounding, with two 10-32 studs per rail (double stud on the right hand rail bottom and left hand rail top).
DC4RT44 ships knocked down with self-centering hardware for easier handling and a self-squaring assembly. Optional accessories include the DC4R4436SP solid side panel, DC4RPR44 additional rail pair, DC4RSHCM lacing bars and locking casters. The rack is TAA compliant, USMCA compliant and manufactured in North America; the square-hole equivalent of this part is DC4R44.
