DC4RPR44 is an additional pair of 44U mounting rails for the Hammond DC4R Series 4-post open frame rack. It is intended for IT and network integrators, data room and homelab builders, and facilities teams who want to add a further pair of 19" EIA-compliant mounting planes to an existing DC4R 44U frame, or reconfigure mounting depth to suit different equipment sizes.

The kit consists of a left-hand rail and a right-hand rail (one of each) and is sold in pairs. Mounting hardware is included with the pair, and the rails are finished in black thin film paint to match the DC4R frame. Construction is mild steel, consistent with the welded steel rack rails used throughout the DC4R Series, and the rails carry marked rack unit dividers to aid equipment mounting.

Each rail provides 44U of typical E.I.A. spacing over 76.50 in (1943 mm), with an overall rail length of 81.44 in (2069 mm). The shipped size is listed as 4 in x 86 in x 2 in (102 mm x 2,184 mm x 51 mm) at 20 lbs (9.07 kg) shipping weight, so allow for the long carton when planning delivery and handling.

Because the DC4R design uses an adjustable depth arrangement, adding DC4RPR44 lets you support deeper equipment at extra mounting points or create an intermediate mounting plane within the same footprint. The rails are made in Canada, are USMCA compliant, TAA compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant, and are classified under ECCN EAR99 and tariff code 9403.10.0040 for procurement and export documentation.
