The APBS194UBK is a 4U open wall rack with an integrated shelf, built for telecom backboards, network demarcation points and small network closets where both rack-mount and non-rack equipment have to live on the same wall. It gives installers 4U of tapped 19-inch rail space plus a 12-inch accessory shelf, so switches, patch panels, modems and routers can be organized without committing to a full cabinet.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel (the shelf is 16-gauge steel), finished in RAL9005 black powder coat that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. Rated capacity is 100 lb. The bracket ships as a self-squaring knock-down kit, which reduces carton size and makes handling on site easier; assembly instructions and 10 pieces of 10-32 x 3/8 assembly hardware are included.

Overall size is 10.54 in (268 mm) high by 19.25 in (489 mm) wide, with mounting dimensions of 7.00 in (178 mm) high by 19.00 in (483 mm) wide. Depth adjusts from 12.00 in (305 mm) to 18.00 in (457 mm) without disassembly, so the same bracket suits shallow patch panels or deeper switches. Shipping weight is 16 lbs (7.26 kg).
