The 15851H6A1 is an 18 in (457 mm) vertical basic PDU with six NEMA 5-15R outlets, rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps. It is built for IT, AV, electrical and OEM users who need compact, hard-wired-quality power distribution inside a rack, cabinet or equipment bay, and it can also be laid horizontally on a workbench.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic ends, keeping the strip rugged but lightweight. The receptacles are 1 in square and equally spaced along the length of the strip, with all six outlets on the front face and none on the rear. Colour is Natural. A resettable circuit breaker and an On/Off rocker switch are built in; if a pilot light version is preferred instead of the switch, the series lists 15851T6A1 as the equivalent.

Power is supplied by an integral heavy-duty 14/3 SJT cord, 6 ft long, with a moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug suited to extreme temperature ranges. The drawing gives an overall assembly length of 456.49 mm (17.972 in) for 15851H6A1, so it fits shallow vertical channels and short mounting runs where a full-height strip will not.

Each outlet strip ships with a mounting bracket kit and hardware; additional kits are available as P/N 1585CLIP. The unit is UL Listed to UL1363 and CSA Certified to C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99) under UL File E166039, carries cULus and TAA-compliant standards markings, and is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant.
