Part number 142125 is a 25-piece rack mounting hardware kit containing 25 nickel-plated 10-32 rack screws and 25 nickel-plated steel cup finishing washers, supplied in a clamshell package. It is intended for IT, AV, broadcast, telecom and industrial installers mounting equipment to standard threaded rack rails, and is sized for a single rack build-out or a stocked service kit rather than a one-off repair.

The screws are 0.625 in. long machine screws with UNF-2A (10-32) threads, made from heat-treated low-carbon steel to the ANSI B18.6.3 standard with a nickel-plated finish. The oval countersunk head seats into the matching metal cup washer to create the clean, finished appearance traditionally used in audio, broadcast, telecommunications and industrial rack installations. A slotted and Phillips combination drive lets you install them with common hand tools.

The included cup washers are constructed of nickel-plated steel and are designed for oval-head screws. They distribute tightening force evenly over a larger area, which helps reduce the chance of marking equipment faceplates during installation. Replacement metal cup washers are offered separately in the 1421 Series (1421E25W) for maintenance and service work.
