The Digi EX50 is Digi's enterprise 5G router, pairing a 5G NR modem with C-band and CBRS support and a FirstNet Capable radio with LTE-Advanced Pro Cat 20 fallback. Dual 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports and enterprise-grade Wi-Fi 6 carry the bandwidth 5G delivers, dual SIM slots with Digi SureLink keep a second carrier on standby, and power can come from active PoE+ or DC for flexible placement near the best signal. A serial port supports out-of-band management, and an extended operating temperature range widens where it can be installed. This SKU is a Digi 360 Cellular Solution Package: the router plus one year of Digi 360 services. That covers Digi Remote Manager - cloud-based configuration, monitoring, firmware and security lifecycle management across the fleet - along with access to Digi's technical support team. Renew annually to keep services active; Digi TrustFence security is built into the device itself either way. It is the right tool for enterprise sites adopting 5G as primary or backup WAN - including bandwidth-heavy uses like 4K cameras and large branch links. Deployment is deliberately boring: pre-configure in Digi Remote Manager, ship the unit to site, have anyone plug it in, and manage it remotely from then on. SKU EX50-WXS6-GLB is the global modem variant in the 1-year Digi 360 packaging; confirm antenna and power accessories for your install before ordering a fleet.
