The Digi IX20 is an industrial cellular router for sites that punish ordinary hardware. This variant runs a LTE Cat 4 modem (worldwide modem variant), with dual SIM slots and Digi SureLink keeping the link monitored and failover automatic. Ethernet connects modern controllers, the RS-232 serial port speaks to legacy equipment, and the rugged DIN-rail-mountable housing belongs in panels and cabinets. Digi TrustFence security is built in, covering secure boot, device identity, and encrypted storage. This SKU is a Digi 360 Cellular Solution Package: the router plus one year of Digi 360 services. That covers Digi Remote Manager - cloud-based configuration, monitoring, firmware and security lifecycle management across the fleet - along with access to Digi's technical support team. Renew annually to keep services active; Digi TrustFence security is built into the device itself either way. It is the right tool for harsher industrial and transportation-adjacent sites that need more cellular headroom and location awareness than entry IoT routers provide. Deployment is deliberately boring: pre-configure in Digi Remote Manager, ship the unit to site, have anyone plug it in, and manage it remotely from then on. SKU IX20-00G4 is the worldwide modem variant in the 1-year Digi 360 packaging; confirm antenna and power accessories for your install before ordering a fleet.
