Carry 10 Gbps Ethernet and up to 100 W of IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 PoE over a 50 ft copper patch connection. CAT6UTP50FTOR joins RJ45-equipped switches, patch panels, access points, cameras, LED signage, and other powered Ethernet endpoints. Its orange jacket makes the cable easy to separate visually from differently colored runs when tracing links in a rack, telecom room, or work area. The cable uses 24 AWG stranded, pure bare copper UTP conductors for flexible patching and consistent signaling. Stranded construction also suits patching where cable is handled during equipment changes. Snagless RJ45 plugs protect the retaining tabs during pulls through cable managers, while gold-plated contacts maintain the connector interface. A 6.0 mm outside diameter supports routing through common horizontal and rack cable-management paths without the bulk of heavier copper assemblies. A CM-rated PVC jacket suits general-purpose installations where that jacket rating is required. The assembly has been Fluke DSX-8000 Channel tested, providing a documented channel-test basis for Cat6 link performance. Within StarTech’s color and length options, this version pairs a 50 ft reach with orange identification; select it when both the run length and visible cable color matter for the installation.
