Key Features

12-inch LP4 to dual SATA power splitter
Right-angle SATA connectors
Single LP4 input to two SATA outputs
Compact cable length for tight builds
Designed for drive power distribution
StarTech branded power adapter cable

Power two SATA drives from one LP4 power supply connector without adding clutter to the build. This 12-inch StarTech splitter is designed for systems where cable length, connector orientation, and bay clearance all matter. The right-angle SATA ends help keep the cable profile low, which is useful in compact cases and dense drive layouts. Compared with basic adapters, this cable is built to solve a specific integration problem: turning one legacy LP4 output into two SATA power connections while keeping the run short and manageable. That makes it a strong choice for upgrades, replacements, and custom builds where you want fewer loose loops and less pressure on nearby components. For technicians and builders, the value is in the details. The 12-inch length supports short, controlled routing. The dual SATA ends reduce the need for extra splitters. And the right-angle design helps preserve space around the drive stack. It is a small accessory, but in a finished system, small details define the quality of the build.

Ideal For

Adding two SATA drives to a system with only one LP4 power connector available
Building compact desktops where right-angle connectors improve clearance
Replacing a bulky splitter with a shorter, cleaner power cable
Supporting legacy PSU-to-SATA power conversion in custom PC builds

Why This Product

1Short 12-inch length helps keep routing controlled in compact cases
2Right-angle SATA ends reduce connector protrusion at the drive bay
3Dual SATA outputs support two drives from one LP4 source
4Better suited to clean custom builds than long, loose splitters

Frequently Asked Questions

What does this cable do?▾

It converts one LP4 power connector into two SATA power connections for powering two SATA drives.

Why choose right-angle SATA connectors?▾

Right-angle connectors help reduce clearance issues and keep the cable profile lower near drive bays and side panels.

Is the 12-inch length useful in larger systems?▾

It is most useful in compact or tightly routed systems where a short, controlled cable run is preferred.

When is this better than a generic splitter?▾

It is better when you need dual SATA power, a short run, and right-angle ends that fit cleanly in a dense build.
