StarTech FAN4EXT12 12 in 4-Pin Fan Extension Cable

Move a 4-pin fan connection where the airflow design demands it. The StarTech FAN4EXT12 adds 12 inches of reach between a power supply or motherboard fan header and a 4-pin cooling fan, giving you more freedom to position the fan without stretching the cable or compromising the build layout. That extra length matters in dense systems, custom enclosures, and serviceable rack or tower configurations where cable tension can create unnecessary wear. By preserving a proper connection path, this extension helps support cleaner routing, easier installation, and a more professional internal finish. Built as a 4-pin to 4-pin fan extension cable, it is designed for CPU fan applications and is backed by StarTech.com’s lifetime warranty. RoHS compliance adds a clear environmental and procurement advantage for standardized deployments. For integrators and IT teams that care about fit, finish, and long-term serviceability, this is a small part that solves a real build problem.
