Star Micronics CD4-1616WT55-S2 Cash Drawer, White 16 x 16

Built for busy point-of-sale counters, this Star Micronics CD4 choice cash drawer gives operators a clean, controlled place to manage bills, coins, and media during every transaction. The white finish presents well in customer-facing environments, while the 16W x 16D footprint provides a practical balance of capacity and counter use. The drawer is printer driven, which makes it a natural fit for receipt-printer-based POS setups where the drawer opens through the printer connection rather than a separate interface. That keeps the checkout stack simple and reduces the number of components staff need to manage. Inside, the 5 bill and 5 coin layout supports organized tender handling, and the two media slots help route checks, receipts, or other non-cash items without opening the drawer unnecessarily. For retailers, hospitality counters, and service desks, that means faster transactions and better control over cash handling. Cable included helps streamline deployment. For teams standardizing on Star Micronics POS hardware, this drawer offers the kind of dependable, purpose-built fit that justifies choosing a dedicated cash management component instead of a generic alternative.
