The Galaxy Tab Active5 is Samsung's 8-inch rugged tablet for work that happens outside the office: warehouses, job sites, delivery routes and field service calls. This SM-X308UZGAN14 configuration is the unlocked 5G model in Green, with 6GB of memory, 128GB of storage (109.3GB available) and microSD expansion up to 1TB. Its durable, water-resistant design is built to handle drops, spills, heat and cold, and the touchscreen responds even when the user is wearing gloves.
The 8.0-inch 1920 x 1200 TFT display reaches 600 nits and supports the S Pen for signatures, forms and markup. An octa-core Samsung Exynos 1380 processor (2.4GHz + 2GHz) runs Android. The 13MP autofocus rear camera has a flash and records 4K at 30fps, which suits document capture, barcode workflows and site photos. A 5MP front camera handles video calls.
For connectivity, the tablet covers 5G Sub-6 bands n2, n5, n12, n25, n30, n66, n71, n41, n48, n77 and n78. It also supports LTE bands including B2, B4, B12, B13, B14, B66 and B71, plus 3G UMTS. The removable 5,050mAh battery is rated for up to 15 hours of LTE internet use, up to 14 hours on Wi-Fi and up to 16 hours of video playback. Because crews can swap the battery, a device can keep working through long or multi-shift days.
