The Australian Shepherd PTA Series is Parsec's covert, low-profile 5G antenna for vehicles. The housing is narrow enough to fit between roof ridges and designed to pair with the low-profile light bars on modern police vehicles. Its aerodynamic shape reduces noise around and inside the cab. This PTA8AS4L2WBG15B is the 8:1 configuration. It has four cellular elements, two Wi-Fi elements, one Bluetooth element and one L1 GPS element, uses 15 ft cables and has a black radome. The cellular elements cover 617-894, 1710-2700, 3400-4000 and 5150-5925 MHz. That range includes the common North American LTE and 5G NR bands, among them FirstNet B14, B71, n41, n71 and n77, plus CBRS (B48/n48) and LAA (B46). The four ports can drive one modem in 4x4 MIMO or two modems simultaneously. Peak cellular gain reaches 7 dBi. The Wi-Fi elements cover 2400-2483.5 and 4900-5900 MHz with 10 dBi peak gain. The active L1 GPS element delivers 28 dBic combined antenna and preamp gain with RHCP polarization. The added Bluetooth element serves routers and in-vehicle systems that use a Bluetooth antenna port. The antenna has an IP67 rating, a UV-stabilised plastic radome, an adhesive sealing gasket and a -40 °C to 85 °C operating range. Every unit is 100% tested by Parsec. The 15 ft LSR200 cellular and Wi-Fi leads and the LSR100 GPS lead reach a router mounted in the trunk, under a seat or in an equipment rack. Cellular and GPS leads end in SMA(M) and Wi-Fi leads in RP-SMA(M). Pole, magnetic and suction mounting accessories are available.
