Choosing a permanent location for a large multi-element vehicle antenna is easier once you have tested it on the road. The Panorama SAB-344 is built for that step. It is a magnetic mount adaptor for the L[X]M[X]M8[X]-6-60 and L[X]M[X]M6[X]-6-60 Megalodon antenna series, such as the LPMHM8-6-60. It gives you a temporary fitting for drive testing and evaluation. The adaptor uses four heavy-duty magnets fitted to a stainless steel plate. You can place it anywhere on the vehicle and check the antenna's performance without drilling any holes. If results at one position are not what you need, lift it and try another. The plate measures 453 mm (17.83 in) long, 191.5 mm (7.54 in) wide and 42 mm (1.65 in) high.
