Not reliably with active antennas. A generic splitter passes or blocks DC unpredictably, so the antenna's amplifier may not power, or two receivers may back-feed each other. The DPD-GPS passes DC from only one receiver while delivering RF to both.
Its 1.56-1.61 GHz range covers GPS L1 (1575 MHz) plus GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and Compass signals in that band, so most standard automotive and telematics receivers are compatible.
It is designed around active GPS/GNSS antennas, which are the norm in vehicle installs. With a passive antenna there is no DC to manage, but received levels without an LNA may be too low to split effectively.
All three ports are FME, the slim connector standard used across Panorama's mobile antenna lines. Adapters are available to transition to SMA, TNC, and other equipment ports.
Both outputs receive the antenna signal; as with any two-way divider each path incurs a nominal split loss, which active-antenna gain is intended to offset in typical installations.
