Panorama Antennas C29FP-5SP-GNSS 5m CS29 Low-Loss GNSS Antenna Cable, FME Male to SMA Male

The C29FP-5SP-GNSS is a 5 m cable assembly with an FME male connector at one end and an SMA male connector at the other. As the part number indicates, it is the GNSS-designated variant of the C29FP-5SP. It is intended for the GNSS antenna path in installations that pair an FME-terminated antenna connection with an SMA female port on a router, gateway, modem or receiver. The assembly uses Panorama's CS29 cable (part SR1-029-B), a 5.0 mm (0.20 in) double-screened coax. An aluminium foil inner shield is combined with a tin-plated copper braid of no less than 95% coverage. Panorama says this significantly reduces attenuation, especially at higher frequencies. The stranded copper centre conductor and cellular polyethylene dielectric give the cable its flexibility, which helps in vehicle and cabinet installations where the GNSS lead runs alongside cellular antenna cables. Panorama publishes typical attenuation of 2.2 dB per 10 m at 400 MHz, 4 dB per 10 m at 1 GHz and 5.5 dB per 10 m at 2 GHz. Impedance is 50 Ω (±2 Ω at 1 GHz, ±4 Ω at 2 GHz), and shielding effectiveness is better than -95 dB to IEC 61196-1 at 400 MHz. The black TPE outer jacket is rated from -40 °C to +80 °C. Electrically, the cable is tested to 1000 VDC voltage withstand and 3000 V RMS jacket spark.
