The C29FP-5F adds 5 m of reach to an FME-based antenna installation. With FME female on one end and FME male on the other, it fits in line between an antenna lead and the equipment-side cable, so an antenna can be mounted further from a router, modem or radio without changing connector types. The assembly uses Panorama's CS29 cable (part SR1-029-B), a 5.0 mm (0.20 in) double-screened coax. An aluminium foil inner shield and a tin-plated copper braid with no less than 95% coverage work together. Panorama says this significantly reduces signal attenuation, especially at higher frequencies, which makes the cable a strong fit for 4G LTE links. The stranded copper centre conductor and cellular polyethylene dielectric keep the cable flexible for routing through vehicles and enclosures. Panorama publishes typical attenuation of 2.2 dB per 10 m at 400 MHz, 4 dB per 10 m at 1 GHz and 5.5 dB per 10 m at 2 GHz. Impedance is 50 Ω (±2 Ω at 1 GHz, ±4 Ω at 2 GHz), and shielding effectiveness is better than -95 dB to IEC 61196-1 at 400 MHz. The black TPE outer jacket is rated from -40 °C to +80 °C. Electrically, the cable is tested to 1000 VDC voltage withstand and 3000 V RMS jacket spark. For installers standardised on FME, this is a clean way to extend an antenna run with known, published loss figures.
