Extend projection distance without compromising image placement or venue scale. The Optoma BX-CTA27 ultra long lens is designed for Optoma ZU1700, ZU1900, and ZU2200 Ultra Bright DuraCore laser projectors, making it a strong fit for entertainment spaces, auditoriums, and other large-venue environments that demand long-throw performance. With a 7.2-10.8:1 throw ratio, this lens can project a 1,000-inch wide image from over 230 m away, giving integrators the reach needed when the projector must stay far from the screen. Full lens memory helps preserve setup consistency, while 1.5x zoom adds practical adjustment range during installation. That combination matters in premium AV projects where alignment, distance, and repeatable performance are non-negotiable. For teams specifying projection systems at scale, the BX-CTA27 supports the kind of deployment flexibility that reduces compromise. It is purpose-built for extreme-distance projection in large venues, where a standard lens would not deliver the required throw. When the installation calls for maximum reach and dependable optical control, this lens earns its place in the system design.
