Give large-format projection the reach it needs. The Optoma BX-CAA03 long throw lens is designed for Optoma ZU1300, ZU1100, ZU1050, ZU860, ZU750, and ZU660e DuraCore laser projectors, extending placement options when the projector must sit farther from the screen. With a 1.52-2.92:1 throw ratio, it supports large image sizes from a more distant mounting position, which is useful in auditoriums, museums, houses of worship, and rental environments. Motorized zoom adds practical control during installation and alignment. Instead of forcing a fixed placement, integrators can fine-tune image size to match the room, screen, and mounting constraints. That matters when the projection surface is large, the rigging position is fixed, or the venue demands repeatable setup across multiple events. This lens is a purpose-built accessory for high-output Optoma laser projectors, not a generic add-on. It exists for one reason: to make long-throw projection easier to deploy with cleaner results and fewer compromises. For teams specifying premium projection hardware, that precision is what separates a workable install from one that is properly matched to the space.
