Give large-format projection more room to breathe. The Optoma BX-CTA20 semi wide lens is built for professional installations that need flexible throw distance without giving up image control. Designed for Optoma ZU1700, ZU1900, and ZU2200 Ultra Bright DuraCore laser projectors, it supports a 1.2–1.5:1 throw ratio and a 1.25x motorized zoom for accurate image sizing across a range of venue layouts. This lens is made for environments where setup speed and repeatability matter. Motorized zoom, focus, and lens memory simplify alignment and help preserve settings between events or reconfigurations. That makes it a strong fit for rental staging, museums, entertainment venues, and permanent installs that need dependable optical control. Compared with fixed lenses, the BX-CTA20 gives integrators more flexibility when screen distance is constrained or room geometry changes from project to project. It is a practical choice when image precision, installation efficiency, and projector compatibility all carry real value. For teams specifying premium projection hardware, this lens helps protect image quality while reducing setup friction.
