Lantronix UDS1100-PoE one-port serial-to-Ethernet device server with DB9F-to-DB25M cable

Lantronix UDS1100-PoE is a one-port external device server for connecting, managing and controlling equipment with a serial port over Ethernet or the Internet. This SKU is listed with a six-foot DB9F-to-DB25M serial cable, P/N 500-163-R. The UDS1100 supports software-selectable RS232, RS422 and RS485 communications through 1 DB25F DCE serial port. Its 10Base-T/100Base-TX Ethernet port uses an RJ45 connector with software-selectable 10/100/Auto speed and Half/Full/Auto duplex. Using serial tunneling, the UDS1100 encapsulates serial data into packets and transports it over Ethernet. It can also operate in modem emulation mode to replace dial-up modems, accepting modem AT commands on the serial port and establishing a network connection to the end device. Setup is available locally through the serial port or remotely through Telnet or a web browser. Lantronix DeviceInstaller GUI, SNMP, Telnet login and HTTP are listed management options.
