Lantronix EDS5032 is the 32-port model in the EDS5000 Series, a rack-mountable serial-to-Ethernet device server for remote access and management of serial-based equipment such as security equipment, medical devices and POS terminals. It provides (1) combo 10/100/1000 Mbps copper or 100/1000 Mbps SFP Ethernet port and 32 total serial device management ports. The serial port set consists of (4) RS-232/422/485 software selectable ports and (28) RS232 only RJ-45 serial ports. EDS5000 device servers support SSL/TLS and SSH security protocols as well as AES encryption. Management options include an internal web server, SNMP, Serial Login, Telnet SSH login, XML, Lantronix Provisioning Manager and Percepxion™. This SKU is a 1RU rackmount unit with 100-240 VAC and 24/48 VDC inputs. It contains a North American power cord.
