UD110000B-01 is the UDS1100 Device Server board only SKU. It is designed to be integrated with the circuit board of devices like factory machinery, security systems, heating and ventilation systems, lighting control systems and point-of-sale devices. Using serial tunneling, the UDS1100-B encapsulates serial data into packets and transports it over Ethernet. Virtual serial connections can be extended using two Device Servers connected by a network, and Lantronix COM Port Redirector software redirects Windows® COM port application data over Ethernet through the UDS1100-B enabled device. The built-in web server enables access and configuration from a standard web browser. The UDS1100-B can also be set up locally through its serial port or remotely using Telnet or a web browser. In modem emulation mode, the UDS accepts modem AT commands on the serial port, then establishes a network connection to the end device. The product is RoHS-compliant and meets Directive 2002/95/EC.
