Infrascale IBDR Model 970 2TB Appliance

Anchor backup and recovery on dedicated hardware instead of shared infrastructure. The Infrascale IBDR Physical Appliance Model 970 provides 2 TB of local backup capacity in an ownership purchase model, giving IT teams a predictable path for retaining recovery data on premises. That matters when restore speed, data locality, and budget control all sit in the same decision. This appliance is designed for organizations that want a fixed backup target they can place inside their own environment and manage as part of standard infrastructure operations. By separating backup storage from production systems, it helps reduce pressure on primary workloads while keeping recovery data close enough for faster response during incidents. For teams comparing appliance-based backup options, the value is in control. Ownership purchase avoids recurring subscription dependency for the hardware itself, which can be attractive when capital planning is preferred over ongoing rental-style commitments. The 2 TB capacity suits smaller backup footprints, branch environments, or targeted protection scenarios where a compact, dedicated recovery platform is the right fit. Use it when you need a straightforward physical backup target with clear economics and a purpose-built role in your recovery stack.
