Infrascale IBDR Model 2780 40TB Appliance

Support larger backup footprints with the Infrascale IBDR Model 2780, a 40 TB physical appliance designed for ownership purchase. For teams managing growing data volumes, the value is straightforward: dedicated capacity, direct control, and a recovery target that lives inside your environment. This model is a strong fit when backup architecture needs to move beyond small-capacity appliances. The 40 TB configuration provides room for broader retention windows, larger protected datasets, and more predictable planning around restore readiness. Because the appliance is owned rather than rented, it also aligns well with organizations that prefer capital acquisition and long-term infrastructure control. Model 2780 is built for on-premises backup and recovery workflows where local access matters. Keeping backup storage close to the workloads it protects can simplify restore operations and reduce dependence on external infrastructure for recovery events. For procurement teams, the ownership model helps avoid recurring appliance fees. For architects, the fixed 40 TB capacity makes sizing and deployment easier to standardize. It is a practical choice when the backup target itself needs to be part of the infrastructure strategy, not just a service subscription.
