Key Features

Open Linux development environment
Integrated cellular modem
Integrated GPS receiver
Serial, USB, Ethernet, and SD card interfaces
Certified hardware offering
Application-ready end-user solution

Support edge applications with a hardware platform designed to bring connectivity, location awareness, and development flexibility into a single certified device. MultiTech MTCDP-EV2-GP-N2-1.0 combines an open Linux environment with integrated cellular and GPS capabilities, giving engineering teams a practical foundation for remote monitoring, telemetry, and embedded communications projects. Multiple interfaces, including serial, USB, Ethernet, and an SD card slot, make it easier to connect peripherals and adapt the platform to different deployment requirements. That breadth matters when the goal is to move from prototype to field use without redesigning the entire stack. This model is positioned for application-ready deployments where reliability, integration speed, and hardware consistency matter more than a low-cost generic modem. The included GPS receiver adds location context for mobile or distributed assets, while the Linux environment supports custom software workflows and device-side logic. For organizations standardizing on a controlled edge platform, this unit offers a stronger starting point than commodity hardware: fewer unknowns, more integration paths, and a certified base for building connected solutions.
