The C2F194231BK1 is a 24U open cabinet frame from the C2 modular rack cabinet system, supplied as a frame only with no mounting rails included. It is the starting point for AV, telecom, lab, industrial and general equipment installations where the cabinet needs to be configured from selected frames, rails, panels, doors and accessories rather than bought pre-assembled.

Construction is a 14-gauge steel welded assembly finished in RAL 9005 black textured powder coat. Across the C2 platform, the frame uses 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets with 16-gauge doors and panels, and is rated for a 1500 lb load. The textured powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and grounding studs on the frame, doors and panels support bonding.

Nineteen-inch rack rails are ordered separately: CCR42TZPL for tapped 10-32 pairs or CPR42SZPL for square-hole pairs, both in 12-gauge or 10-gauge steel, with infinite-depth rail adjustment using C-channel struts. Four leveling feet (5/16-18 thread) are included and 1/4-20 caster hardware points plus 0.50 in (13 mm) lagging points are provided for optional casters or floor anchoring.
