The Ericsson Cradlepoint MC400-1200M-B is a Gigabit-Class LTE modular modem for MC400-capable routers. This MA-MC400-1200M-B kit is the mobile version. It includes an IBR1700 modem door with screw and a COR Extensibility Dock modem door with screw, so it fits vehicle and in-field deployments built on those platforms. It ships without antennas and uses the host installation's existing cellular antennas. Installed as a second modem, it adds carrier diversity and failover. It can also switch automatically to the second SIM when the primary plan's data cap is reached. The modem is Cat 18 LTE Advanced Pro on 3GPP Release 12, with WCDMA/DC-HSPA+ fallback. It supports up to 5 CA downlink and 2 CA uplink, 4x4 MIMO and up to 256 QAM. Peak rates are 1.2 Gbps downlink and 150 Mbps uplink on LTE. LTE coverage spans FDD bands B1 through B71, including B13, B14 and B71, plus TDD bands including CBRS Band 48. Dual 2FF SIM slots support SIM-based auto-carrier selection. The module also provides active GPS and SMS. The MC400-1200M-B lists AT&T and Verizon network operator certifications with PTCRB and GCF. It is FirstNet Capable and supports Verizon Frontline for public-safety fleets, and private cellular support includes FCC Part 96 (CBRS Band 48). The module operates from -30 °C to 70 °C and takes power over USB from the host. It complies with MIL STD 810G and SAEJ1455 when inserted in an IBR1700, a COR Extensibility Dock attached to an IBR900, or an R1900 with an RX30-MC managed accessory.
