Cradlepoint 170900-015 5G Captive Modem Accessory, Outdoor

Keep critical locations online when primary circuits are unavailable or unstable. This Cradlepoint 5G captive modem accessory is designed for outdoor deployment and global use, giving infrastructure teams a cellular path for backup connectivity, remote access, and site continuity. Built around the R2155-5GB modem platform, it supports up to 4.1 Gbps modem performance, making it suitable for environments that need more than basic failover. That matters when the connection has to carry business traffic, not just light management access. For distributed enterprises, the value is in preserving uptime, reducing dependence on a single wired provider, and keeping branch, edge, and temporary sites reachable. Because this is an accessory rather than a general-purpose consumer gateway, it fits deployments where cellular connectivity is part of a managed network design. The outdoor form factor helps extend placement options for challenging sites, while the global designation supports broader rollout planning across regions. For teams standardizing on Cradlepoint infrastructure, it offers a purpose-built path to add 5G connectivity without compromising operational control.
