The Cradlepoint E3000-5GB is Ericsson's all-in-one enterprise branch router, supplied under part number BFA5-30005GB-GN with 5-year NetCloud Enterprise Branch Essentials and Advanced plans for the U.S. and Canada. It is designed for fixed offices, healthcare, financial services and retail locations where routing, security, PoE switching and Wi-Fi need to live in one box. The E3000 is sold only as part of a NetCloud Service package. Connectivity starts with an embedded 5G FR1 NSA/SA modem with LTE Advanced Pro Category 20, dual 2FF SIM slots, 4x4 MIMO and peak rates of up to 4.14 Gbps down and 660 Mbps up, with four external paddle antennas included. The modem holds AT&T, EE, T-Mobile and Verizon certifications, FirstNet Trusted, T-Mobile Connecting Heroes and Verizon Frontline Verified public safety certifications, and CBRS Band 48 support for private cellular. An MC400 modular modem slot (up to 1 Gbps) adds a second cellular link, and the router can pair with Ericsson Cradlepoint 5G Wideband Adapters. Wired and wireless LAN capacity is substantial: nine LAN/WAN-switchable Gigabit ports, one 2.5GbE port, one 10GbE SFP+ port, four 802.3bt PoE Type 3/4 ports delivering up to 90 W each within a 140 W budget, an RJ45 console port and 4x4 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi 6 with external antennas and WPA3. Rated performance reaches 2 Gbps stateful firewall, 1.5 Gbps IPS and application-aware services, 400 Mbps IPsec VPN, 20 VPN tunnels and 130,000 TCP sessions for a typical 100 clients. Standards-based dynamic routing, VPN and VRRP router pairing fit the E3000 into existing networks. The NetCloud package includes zero-touch deployment and group policy through NetCloud Manager, software and firmware updates for the full term, 24x7 support (phone 24 hours weekdays with weekend emergency response, web 24x7, chat 24x5) and a limited lifetime hardware warranty while the subscription is active.
