Cradlepoint R920 Ruggedized LTE Cat 7 Router with Wi-Fi 6 and 3-Year NetCloud Ruggedized IoT Essentials Plan

The Cradlepoint R920 is a ruggedized LTE networking platform built for fleets, field equipment and IoT deployments that need dependable cellular connectivity in harsh conditions. This SKU is the North American C7A configuration for the U.S. and Canada, bundled with a 3-year NetCloud Ruggedized IoT Essentials plan, and ships with an AC power supply and two external 600 MHz–6 GHz cellular paddle antennas. At its core is an embedded Cat 7 LTE modem with 2x2 MIMO and carrier aggregation, rated at up to 300 Mbps down and 150 Mbps up, with dual 4FF SIM slots and SIM-based auto-carrier selection. It covers North American LTE bands including B2, B4, B5, B12, B13, B14, B66 and B71, plus Band 48 CBRS for private cellular networks, and is certified for AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon along with FirstNet Trusted, T-Mobile Connecting Heroes and Verizon Frontline public safety networks. Local connectivity comes from 2x2 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi 6 (574 Mbps at 2.4 GHz, 1.2 Gbps at 5 GHz), two LAN/WAN-switchable Gigabit Ethernet ports, embedded Bluetooth LE 5.1, a screw-lock USB 2.0 port and GPIO. The R920 is built for vehicles: 9–36 VDC input with ignition sensing, E-Mark and SAE J1455 vehicle certification, EN 61373 rail certification, MIL-STD-810G shock and vibration testing, Class I Div 2 hazardous location rating and IP64 ingress protection. Multi-constellation GNSS (GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou, QZSS) supports tracking and coverage mapping. The included NetCloud Essentials plan provides NetCloud Manager device management and software updates for the full term, 24x7 support, and a limited lifetime warranty while the subscription is active. A dual-core 64-bit ARM CPU runs Docker containerized applications at the edge, and the RX20 Managed Accessory can add a second LTE or 5G modem and a serial port.
