Bring speech capture off the table and into the room architecture with Cisco’s Ceiling Microphone Gen 2 stand-alone kit. Built for unified communications environments, this ceiling-mounted microphone helps preserve a clean conference surface while supporting a more intentional room design. For IT and AV teams, the value is not just visual. Ceiling placement can simplify furniture planning, reduce cable visibility, and support a consistent microphone position in rooms where seating or table layouts may change. That makes it a strong fit for executive conference rooms, client-facing collaboration spaces, and premium meeting environments where presentation matters as much as audio. As a stand-alone kit, this model is suited to deployments that want a dedicated ceiling microphone solution rather than a tabletop device. It is a practical choice when the room needs to look finished, the table needs to stay clear, and the conferencing system needs hardware that blends into the space instead of competing with it. Cisco’s Gen 2 ceiling microphone kit addresses those requirements with a focused, room-first design.
