Keep the conference table free and the conversation natural. The Cisco Ceiling Microphone Gen 2 stand alone kit is built for overhead deployment in meeting spaces where visible tabletop hardware gets in the way of collaboration. By moving the microphone to the ceiling, it supports a cleaner room design while helping capture speech from participants across the space. This approach is especially valuable in executive boardrooms, divisible conference rooms, and premium collaboration environments where appearance and audio quality both matter. Ceiling placement reduces clutter, preserves the room’s visual profile, and can make it easier to standardize microphone positioning across similar spaces. For integrators and IT teams, that means a more controlled deployment model and a more polished end-user experience. Choose this kit when the room needs professional audio without adding hardware to the table. It is a strong fit for organizations that care about meeting-room aesthetics, consistent speech pickup, and a deployment style that aligns with high-value Cisco collaboration environments. The result is a cleaner space and a more deliberate audio design.
