Keep critical systems accessible without moving the console. The Black Box ACU1700A 4K KVM Extender CATx sends 4K60 HDMI video up to 100 meters over CAT5e, CAT6, or CAT6A cabling, while carrying USB keyboard, mouse, and other HID signals plus power and control data. That makes it a practical fit for server rooms, control points, and equipment spaces where direct access is limited or undesirable. The local unit connects at the CPU side, and the remote unit places the operator where it is most useful. A local monitor can also be attached for on-site monitoring and administration, giving teams flexibility during maintenance windows and day-to-day operations. For infrastructure teams that need dependable remote reach without adding complexity at the rack, this extender preserves video quality and control across distance while keeping the workflow familiar.
