Bring two DisplayPort systems under one control point without sacrificing image quality or peripheral flexibility. The Black Box KV9702A is a 2-port KVM switch designed for environments where operators need fast access to multiple computers and a clear, high-resolution desktop experience. It supports DisplayPort video up to 2,560 x 1,600, along with common high-definition modes such as 1,920 x 1,080 and 1,920 x 1,200. What sets this model apart is its independent switching behavior for USB and audio devices. That means peripheral and sound routing can be managed separately from video, which is useful in workflows where a user needs to keep a headset, storage device, or other USB accessory tied to one system while viewing another. For technical workstations, trading desks, control rooms, and engineering environments, that level of control reduces friction and keeps attention on the task. As a compact 2-port DisplayPort KVM, the KV9702A is a strong fit when you want a cleaner desk, fewer cable runs, and direct access to two machines without moving between keyboards and monitors. It delivers the kind of focused capability that justifies a premium desktop KVM: high-resolution support, independent device switching, and the reliability expected in professional infrastructure settings.
